Much work left on the table...

The Honda Racing F1 Team continued its test programme in Jerez for a second day today. The weather conditions were once again warm and sunny although a strong wind made the driving conditions very inconsistent over the course of the session.
Rubens Barrichello continued his running for a second day in the RA108 car. He focused on chassis set-up work alongside a race start programme to cover 58 laps in total, achieving the 15th fastest run with a time of 1:21.710.
Jenson Button joined the team this morning and continued the programme begun by Alex Wurz yesterday in the second RA108 chassis. He ran through a series of aero evaluations alongside general set-up work to complete 85 laps.
The Briton was a bit quicker than his Brazilian team-mate, reaching up to 13th position overall with a quickest lap completed in 1:21.710.
Although the team are still working out appropriate set-ups from scratch with their new racer, there appears to be much to do before Honda manages to bring up the pace.
Alex Wurz will re-join the test tomorrow alongside Jenson Button for the final day of this week's test.
