Fernando Alonso was second fastest in the morning session, while Renault did a little show-boating to take the runner-up spot in the afternoon with Giancarlo Fisichella. |

| The real story however is that Ferrari are way ahead of its rivals and behind, it is a case of McLaren holding off – perhaps Renault and BMW - while Williams Toyota have shown well so far this weekend. |
